WITH AUTOMATIC CUT AND RE-FEED ATTACHMENTS

Automatic High Voltage coil winding machine winds high quality HV coils for Oil immersed distribution transformers with progressive inter layer insulation along with end fillings.

The small width insulation Ribbon is automatically fed and wound with programmable progressive insulation with automatic cutting, stitching and re-feeding after building of the end-fill. This process eliminates manual intervention of the operator till the feeding of next cooling ducts or next tapping.

MACHINE DESIGN

The Automatic HV coil winding machines are designed with robotic welded steel structure to accommodate all controls and components.
A complete machine comprise the following main components:

  1. Main Winding Head with Side support
  2. Inter layer Insulation decoiler unit
  3. Automatic Insulation cutting and feeding unit
  4. Automatic Ribbon Stitching unit
  5. Decoiler for Round conductor

MAIN WINDING HEAD

A Robotic welded steel structural frame with direct shaft driven Asynchronous AC geared Motor with precision stepless speed regulation through close loop Machine Controller.

INTER LAYER INSULATION DECOILER

Interlayer insulation decoiler unit is equipped with option to load two ribbon rolls, one for direct winding and other for automatic cut-feed option, when machine automatically selects two paper concept.

AUTOMATIC INSULATION CUT -
FEED UNIT

Automatic Inter layer Insulation cut-feed unit is equipped with the option of progressive insulation with automatic end filling, paper feeding and cutting (Paper thickness range - 0.05 to 0.50 mm) Programmable tension control system with AC servo motor and dancing rollers.
Automatic progressive inter-layer Insulation (graded insulation) with 2 & 3 strip concept, will be achieved with close loop inter traverse system.
Third insulation will be used for additional strip feeding for end filling and layer insulation.

AUTOMATIC RIBBON STITCHING UNIT

The self-rotating toothed wheel operates to stitch the ribbon, after completion of the end filling.

DECOILER FOR ROUND CONDUCTOR

Wire Decoiler stand is equipped with wire guide system with felt grip to avoid the damage to Enamelled wire, along with roller and ceramic guide for abrasion free run.
